A handmade small vintage kantha silk scarf. 

These soft silk scarves are a zero waste and carbon-neutral product using recycled sari fabric. Two layers of either contrasting or complementary fabric are hand stitched together using fine kantha stitching, in this case utilising a circular pattern.

Each scarf is a one of a kind - no two are ever the same.

Vintage sari silk

Made from vintage silk saris that have already been worn. We buy them in bundles from recycling centres across India, clean them and repair them. Some marks remain to show their former life, so every piece is one of a kind.
