Our Story

We source our materials from community projects, charities, Non Governmental Organisations and recycling centres from around the world. Our fabrics include fair-trade hand printed organic cottons from 15 countries including India, Ghana and Nigeria, hand embroidered silks from a fantastic widows group in Bangladesh, vintage cotton quilts, recycled sari and kimono silks and traditional wool, tweeds, Denim and linen from across the UK, Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands. In addition the paper bags we use are made from recycled newspapers by a charity that supports housing and educating street children in India’s biggest cities.

We find joy in discovering more and more artisans from around the world and the beautiful textiles they create. The majority of our items are unique due to the limited quantities of these fabulous fabrics, therefore we make one of each piece. We enjoy the challenge of constantly creating new and more delicious colour combinations.
